Hot news: Sourdough is coming

Sourdough is officially on the menu and I couldn’t be more excited! But this is not your run-of-the-mill sourdough.

Handmade sourdough bread is something of an everyday miracle and anyone who has made it knows that the process can become addictive. The result is always so much better and healthier than what you can buy at the store.

North Sea Baking sourdough is not your typical homemade sourdough, however, and it is the mill that makes the difference. The flours used in these loaves are produced by Central Milling, a world-class mill in northern Utah quietly famous for making exceptional organic flours.

A basic sourdough bread has very few ingredients, so exceptional flour can make an extraordinary loaf of bread. I think you’ll like these.

This first bake day will include Rustic Sourdough Loaf (pictured) and Cranberry Walnut Sourdough Rolls. These breads start with simple, high-quality ingredients: Central Milling organic flours and French grey sea salt. The rolls include toasted walnuts and sweetened dried cranberries. Stock up on your favorite butter and get ready!

Pre-orders open on Friday, February 13 and close on Wednesday, February 18th. Bake day is Saturday, February 21. https://www.hotplate.com/northseabaking/05d30205-2508-49a0-9bb1-ac7af405a5fc
